The Downtown First Thursday ArtWalk:
This event is held on the first Thursday of each month from 5pm - 8pm and features local artists of all types in Clarksville’s downtown stores. If you are an artist interested in participating in the ArtWalk or a business interested in hosting an artist, contact Monica at 931.542.6935.
GLUTEN-FREE COOKING CLASS
Saturday, January 7 and March 3, 4:00pm, $30.00
Being gluten intolerant does not have to be a limiting situation. Since gluten in many forms is in numerous items we eat, it can be difficult to maintain a gluten-free diet on a daily basis. Nutrition expert Sarah- Jane Bedwell, R.D., L.D.N. will share the ingredients and techniques for creating wonderful gluten-free dishes and will discuss all aspects of cooking gluten-free recipes along with shopping tips. Participants will receive a gluten-free grocery shopping pocket guide and have an ample opportunity to ask questions and leave being able to better navigate this often-confusing path.

The Spring Series cooking classes will be demonstration classes where the chef will show students step by step how to follow the recipes & cook these meals in his or her own home environment. Occasionally the chef will call for participation on a volunteer basis. Participants are encouraged to take notes & ask questions. Participants will be provided with recipes & tastings of each menu item & are encouraged to come to class hungry! Complimentary wine will be available at each class. Each participant is required to fill out registration forms and pay in advance of the class. All participants must pay in advance and fill out registration forms for seat to be reserved. St. Paddy’s Food Treats & Sweets

This class is designed to create a fun party atmosphere with entertaining party foods for Saint Patrick’s Day. Chef Corey will put a spin on “traditional’’ Saint Paddy foods while introducing fun ways to present them. In addition, this class will include some creative Saint Paddy desserts. Be sure to have a “Green” Time! This is a Demonstration Intermediate class for Adults. Must Be at least 18 years old to participate.

Join Chef Ross Wilson for a traditional 3 course Thai meal February 23 at 6:30pm. Recipes will be provided so that you can follow along as he takes you step by step through the simple techniques used in preparing all three elegant Thai dishes. Then enjoy the flavors ranging from savory, to spicy, and sweet as each course is presented. Cost is $35.00.

SUSHI
Ross Wilson will be teaching a Sushi Class March 15 at 6:30pm! The menu includes: Sweet Shrimp Nigri, Unagi (eel) Nigri, California Roll, Lover Boy Roll, Spicy Tuna Roll, Mandarin Roll, and Beef & Scallion Roll. Water and wine will be served.
